Isaiah 14:29-31

29 “Do not rejoice, ^aPhilistia, all of you,
Because the rod that ^bstruck you is broken;
For from the serpent’s root a ^cviper will come out,
And its fruit will be a ^dwinged serpent.
30 “ ^{▼▼Lit The firstborn of the helpless}Those who are most ^fhelpless will eat,
And the poor will lie down in security;
I will kill your root with ^gfamine,
And it will kill your survivors.
31 “Wail, you ^hgate; cry, you city;
^{▼▼Or Become demoralized}Melt away, ^jPhilistia, all of you!
For smoke comes from the ^knorth,
And ^lthere is no straggler in his ranks.
